Terms and Conditions
These terms set out the agreement between you and Leanly Journey when you use this site or buy from it. They are written in plain language deliberately. A set of terms that only a lawyer can follow is a set of terms nobody has actually agreed to. By placing an order you accept what is on this page.

Who these terms are between
These terms are between you and the operator of leanlyjourney.au. Throughout this page, we, us and our mean that operator, and you means anyone browsing the site, holding an account or placing an order.
These terms work alongside the privacy policy, which covers your personal information, and the returns and refunds policy, which covers what happens when something is wrong with an order. Where a more specific policy says something about its own subject, that specific policy applies.
Who may order
You may order only if you are of legal age in your state or territory and are legally permitted to purchase the products in question where you live.
Australian rules in this area are set by federal and state authorities, differ by product and by jurisdiction, and have changed materially in recent years. It is your responsibility to know what applies to you. We are a retailer, not a legal adviser, and nothing on this site is legal advice. The Therapeutic Goods Administration and the Department of Health and Aged Care publish the current position directly. Further detail on age is on the age verification policy.
You must not order on behalf of anyone who is not permitted to order themselves.
Your account
You may check out as a guest or create an account. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping the password confidential and for activity that happens under it.
Use a password you do not use anywhere else. The overwhelming majority of account compromises anywhere on the internet come from a password reused from a site that was breached, not from the site being logged into. If you believe someone else has access to your account, change the password and tell us through the contact page.
Information you give us must be accurate. An order with a wrong delivery address is the single most common avoidable problem, and it is far easier to correct before dispatch than after.
How an order is formed
This part matters more than most people assume, because it determines the point at which either side is committed.
A product listing is an invitation to buy rather than a binding offer. When you complete checkout you are making an offer to purchase. The automatic confirmation you receive at that moment acknowledges that your order arrived. It is not itself acceptance of it.
The contract is formed when we accept the order, which in practice is when it is dispatched. Up to that point we may decline an order. That is not something done casually, and the reasons are narrow: the item turns out to be unavailable, a pricing or description error is discovered, the order cannot be delivered to the address given, payment cannot be verified, or we have reason to believe the order breaches these terms. If an order is declined after payment, the payment is returned.

Pricing, currency and errors
All prices are in Australian dollars. The price shown on the product page is the price charged. There is no currency conversion happening quietly behind the scenes.
Prices can change. The price that applies to your order is the one displayed at the moment you complete checkout, not one you saw earlier or one that applies later.
Errors happen. If a product is listed at an obviously wrong price, for example a decimal point in the wrong place, we are not obliged to supply at that price. Where an error is found before dispatch, you will be told and given the choice of proceeding at the correct price or cancelling for a full refund. What we will not do is quietly ship a different thing or charge a different amount without telling you.
Stock and availability
Listings reflect stock at the time of viewing, and popular flavours and strains move quickly. Occasionally an item sells out between your order and picking.
Where that happens you will be contacted with the options: wait for restock, substitute something equivalent if you want one, or receive a refund for that line. We do not substitute a different product without asking, because a substitution nobody agreed to is just a wrong order.
Product descriptions
We describe products as accurately as we can, including format, volume and the strength stated by the manufacturer.
Two honest caveats. First, some figures are manufacturer estimates rather than measurements, the clearest example being puff counts on disposable devices, which are derived from short consistent test draws and are almost always higher than real world use. Where a figure is an estimate we say so rather than repeating it as fact. Second, photography and screen calibration mean colours and packaging may look slightly different in person.
Nothing in any description is a health claim. No product sold here is offered as a treatment for any condition, and nothing on this site is medical advice. See the disclaimer.
Delivery
We deliver Australia wide. Delivery detail, including tracking, packaging and what happens when a parcel goes astray, is covered in full on the shipping and delivery page.
We do not publish a guaranteed delivery time, because transit depends on the destination postcode and the carrier service used on the day. Any estimate given is an estimate rather than a contractual commitment. Delays caused by the carrier, by weather or by events outside our control are not a breach of these terms, though we will help you chase a parcel that has genuinely gone missing.
You must give an address capable of receiving a parcel. If a parcel is returned to sender because the address was wrong or nobody could accept it, redelivery may need to be arranged.
Risk and title
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Title passes once payment has been received in full. In practice, since payment is taken at checkout, these arrive at effectively the same point for almost every order.
Changing or cancelling an order
Before dispatch, changes are usually straightforward. Contact us as quickly as possible through the contact page with your order number.
After dispatch an order cannot be recalled. At that point it becomes a returns question rather than a cancellation question, and the returns policy applies.
Returns and consumer guarantees
Australian Consumer Law gives you guarantees that no store policy can remove. Goods must be of acceptable quality, must match their description and must be fit for their ordinary purpose. If they are not, you have rights to a repair, replacement or refund depending on how serious the problem is. The ACCC sets out exactly what those guarantees cover.
Nothing in these terms limits those rights, and if anything here appears to conflict with them, the law wins.
Separately from the law, consumable products that have been opened cannot be resold, so a change of mind on an opened consumable is treated differently from a fault. Full detail is on the returns and refunds page.

Acceptable use of this site
You may browse, search and order. You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its systems, attempt to disrupt it, scrape it at a scale that degrades it for other users, use it to distribute malicious code, or place orders you have no intention of paying for.
Reviews and any other content you submit must be your own and must not be unlawful, defamatory or deliberately misleading. We may remove submitted content that breaches this.
Intellectual property
The design, text and arrangement of this site belong to us or are used with permission. Product names, brand names and manufacturer imagery belong to their respective owners and appear here to identify the products offered for sale.
You may not copy substantial parts of this site for commercial use. Linking to us is welcome and needs no permission.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to replacing it or refunding what you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law, and nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
You are responsible for using products sensibly, for storing them safely away from children and animals, and for taking medical advice where your circumstances call for it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Australia and you agree to the jurisdiction of Australian courts.
If any individual clause turns out to be unenforceable, that clause is severed and the rest continues to apply. If we do not enforce a right immediately, that is not a waiver of it.
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the version published at the time you placed it.
Common questions about these terms
At what point is my order actually confirmed?
The automatic email you get at checkout confirms the order arrived, not that it was accepted. The contract forms when the order is dispatched, and that is the point at which either side is committed.
Can you cancel my order after I have paid?
In narrow circumstances, such as the item being unavailable, a genuine pricing error, or payment that cannot be verified. If that happens after payment, you are refunded in full.
What if a product is listed at the wrong price?
An obvious pricing error does not oblige us to supply at that price. You will be told before dispatch and can either proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
Do these terms limit my consumer rights?
No. Australian Consumer Law guarantees cannot be removed by any store policy. If anything on this page appears to conflict with them, the law applies.
What happens if my item sells out after I order?
You are contacted with the options: wait for restock, take an equivalent substitute if you want one, or get a refund for that line. Nothing is substituted without asking you first.
Is the puff count on a disposable a guarantee?
No. It is a manufacturer estimate from short consistent test draws, and real world use is almost always lower. Treat it as a way to rank devices against each other.
Which law applies?
Australian law, and Australian courts have jurisdiction.
