How to Order from Leanly Journey
Ordering takes about three minutes, and getting it right the first time is mostly about four decisions made before you reach the basket. This page walks through the whole process from choosing a product to tracking the parcel, and covers the specific mistakes that cause most support messages, so you can avoid them rather than write to us about them afterwards.

Four decisions before you start
Almost every ordering problem traces back to one of these being skipped.
Format. Do you want something inhaled or something eaten? Inhaled products act within minutes so you can judge the effect and stop. Edibles and tinctures act slowly and last much longer.
Strength. Work out the figure per unit, not per package. This is the single most common source of disappointment.
Quantity. If you have not tried it before, buy one. Multi packs are cheaper per unit and are a false economy on something untested.
Delivery address. Somewhere that can actually receive a parcel during business hours. This decision belongs at the start, not at checkout.

Step one, finding the product
There are three routes in, depending on what you already know.
You know the product. Use search, or go to its category page. Device ranges each have their own page, so going to the range rather than searching a flavour name shows you every flavour available in that device at once.
You know the format. Start at the format category: disposable vapes, THC gummies, pre rolls, tinctures and so on.
You are starting from scratch. Read the buying guide first, then browse the full catalogue of 687 products across 29 categories.
Step two, reading the listing properly
Three things on a listing decide whether you will be happy with the purchase.
The milligram figure and what it describes. A pack listed at 1000mg containing ten pieces is a hundred milligrams each. A bottle listed at 2000mg delivering four milligrams per drop is a gentle product despite the larger headline number. Always convert to the per unit figure before comparing two products.
The ratio, on anything with both CBD and THC. A 22:1 product is CBD dominant with a trace of THC. A 1:1 is balanced and behaves completely differently. Brands sell several ratios under near identical packaging, so read the ratio before the brand name.
The format, especially with vapes. A cartridge screws onto a battery you already own. If you do not own one, a cartridge on its own is unusable. This is a genuinely common and entirely avoidable mistake.
Treat manufacturer figures such as puff counts as estimates rather than promises, as explained in the disclaimer.

Step three, the basket
Add what you want and open the basket to review it before going further.
Check quantities. It is easy to click add twice and end up with two of something. Check that you have the right variant if a product comes in several strengths or flavours, because they sit on the same listing and the wrong one is a click away.
Prices are in Australian dollars throughout, and the figure shown is the figure charged. There is no currency conversion happening quietly in the background.
Guest checkout or an account
You can check out as a guest without creating anything. It is the fastest route and there is no penalty for using it.
An account is worth it if you expect to order more than once. It stores your address so you are not retyping it, keeps your order history in one place, and makes reordering a favourite considerably faster. If you create one, use a password you do not use anywhere else, because reused passwords are how almost every account anywhere gets compromised.
Step four, the delivery address
This is where the most consequential mistakes happen, and they are all preventable in about fifteen seconds of checking.
The unit or apartment number. The single most commonly omitted field and the most common cause of a failed delivery. A street address without a unit number in a building of eighty apartments is not an address.
The name. It must match whoever can accept the parcel, because some carriers will not release a parcel to a different name.
Access notes. If entry needs a code or a buzzer, put it in the delivery notes. Couriers work to a schedule measured in minutes per stop.
Whether you will be there. If not, a parcel locker or a work address is a better choice than hoping. The shipping and delivery page covers the options.
Step five, payment
Available payment options are shown at checkout. All prices and charges are in Australian dollars.
Card details are handled by the payment processor rather than by this store. We never receive your full card number and could not retrieve it if you asked, which is covered in the privacy policy. Refunds return to the original payment method and cannot be redirected elsewhere, which is a fraud protection built into payment processing rather than a policy choice.
If a payment is declined, the most common causes are a mistyped card number or expiry, an address that does not match the one your bank holds, or your bank blocking an unfamiliar transaction. Check those before assuming the store is at fault, and contact us through the contact page if it persists.
Step six, what happens next
You receive two messages, and they mean different things.
The first arrives immediately and confirms your order was received. It is not confirmation that the order has been accepted, as explained in the terms and conditions.
The second arrives at dispatch and carries your tracking reference. This is the message worth keeping, because that reference is what you will need for every question afterwards. Use it on the track your order page.
Tracking will not appear instantly. The carrier has to scan the parcel into its network first, and a gap of some hours between the dispatch email and the first scan is normal.
Guest checkout against an account
| Guest checkout | Account | |
|---|---|---|
| Speed first time | Fastest | Slightly slower |
| Speed on reorder | Retype everything | Much faster |
| Order history | Email only | Stored in My Account |
| Saved address | No | Yes |
| Best for | One off purchase | Anyone ordering again |
The mistakes that cause most problems
Leaving out the unit number. The leading cause of failed delivery.
Buying a cartridge with no battery. A cart is unusable on its own.
Misreading strength. Confusing a package total with a per unit figure, in either direction.
Buying a multi pack of something untested. The most expensive avoidable mistake in the catalogue.
Ordering to an address nobody can receive. A parcel returned to sender means arranging redelivery.
Ordering only when you have run out. Reorder when you are about a third from the end and you will never actually wait.
Changing an order after checkout
Before dispatch, changes are usually straightforward. Message through the contact page with your order number as fast as you can, because the window is short.
After dispatch a parcel cannot be recalled. At that point it becomes a returns question rather than a cancellation, and the returns and refunds policy applies.
Your rights once you have ordered
Completing checkout is not the end of your protections, it is the start of them, and it is worth knowing what you are entitled to before you need it.
Australian Consumer Law provides guarantees that no store policy can remove. Goods must be of acceptable quality, must match their description and must be fit for the purpose they are ordinarily used for. They must also be delivered within a reasonable time. Where any of that fails, you are entitled to a remedy, and the remedy depends on how serious the problem is. The ACCC guide to consumer guarantees sets out what is covered, and the repair, replace, refund guidance explains how remedies are decided in practice.
Your privacy rights are separate and are set out by the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. If you ever want to know what is held about you, or want it corrected or removed, that is a request you are entitled to make.
If something goes wrong, raise it with us first through the contact page, because the large majority of problems are resolved in one exchange. If it cannot be settled, every state and territory runs a free consumer affairs service, and using it is your right rather than an escalation you need permission for.
Reordering, and never waiting again
The habit that most improves the experience of buying online costs nothing and takes one decision.
Reorder before you run out, not after. If you know roughly how long something lasts you, place the next order when you are about a third of the way from the end. The parcel arrives while you still have stock, which means you are never actually waiting on anything. Every complaint about delivery speed anywhere on the internet comes from people ordering at zero.
An account makes this considerably easier, because your order history shows exactly what you bought and when. Two or three orders in, you can see your own consumption rate rather than guessing at it.
The second half is quantity. Once you are confident a product suits you, a multi pack costs less per unit than repeat singles and reduces how often you deal with delivery at all. The caution is to only do that once you are sure, because a multi pack of something untested is the most expensive mistake available in the catalogue.
Ordering questions answered
Do I need an account to order?
No. Guest checkout works and is the fastest route first time. An account is worth it if you expect to order again, because it stores your address and order history.
What currency will I be charged in?
Australian dollars. The price on the product page is the price charged, with no conversion happening in the background.
What payment methods can I use?
Available options are shown at checkout. Card details are handled by the payment processor rather than by this store, and refunds return to the original payment method.
My payment was declined. Why?
Usually a mistyped card number or expiry, an address that does not match the one your bank holds, or your bank blocking an unfamiliar transaction. Check those first, then contact us if it persists.
Is the confirmation email the same as order acceptance?
No. The first email confirms the order arrived. The contract forms when the order is dispatched, which is when you receive the second email with your tracking reference.
How soon can I track my parcel?
Not instantly. The carrier has to scan the parcel into its network first, so a gap of some hours between the dispatch email and the first tracking event is normal.
Can I change my address after ordering?
Before dispatch, usually yes, if you message quickly with your order number. After dispatch a parcel cannot be recalled.
What should I buy first?
One item, mid range strength, smallest quantity. Then note what it was and how it affected you. That single habit is worth more than any category filter.
